No Comments Blooms for Your Room: The Secret to Really Sweet Dreams
I don’t know any woman who doesn’t like flowers. If there was one, well, she probably isn’t 100% female! Gender biases aside, men and women will greatly benefit from having flowers in the bedroom, as a study shows that they help contribute to having sweet dreams.
A group of German researchers pumped various scents ranging from foul to sweet-smelling under the noses of 15 women while they were in the REM stage of sleep- or the dreaming stage. The smells turned out to have an effect on the emotions they felt from the dreams. The negative smells elicited bad dreams, while the sweet smells produced good dreams.
The next time you get lavender bunches from your beau, try putting them in your bedroom for a change. You’ll have happy thoughts go through you- whether you’re asleep or awake.
