I couldn’t even read properly a single line in www.acnecuresrevealed.net without worrying for my hubby. He is still in the Intensive Care Unit recovering from his stroke a few days ago. Upto now, he cant move his arm and can’t speak very well, I just wish he recovers soon, it breaks my heart everytime I see him cry, my family and friends already sent me their support and prayers I just wish god could hear me one more time.

We will move next to my daughter’s tree farm. My husband is very excited about this move as he grew up in a farm as well. In fact he already started to sort out our stuff and sell the ones we cannot bring with us. I also already ordered some boxes for the ones we would bring. If only our stuff were so easy to pack like pop displays , moving with certainly be a breeze. But it’s alright, I know it would be great as we will be then closer to my family.

I came across a wonderful website today. Remember the “Buy Shoes Saves Lives” post? I love finding these kind of websites. Alpha Relief appears to be a non profit that aims to help the brave people in other countries who strive to spread the word about God and christianity. Right now, their primary concern is for those facing a famine in North Korea, where we all know these good people remain underground and risk their lives to share the word with the North Korean people (who sadly believe they are living a dream life while thanks to the government and propoganda).

I actually found this site when I was looking for wholesale fashion jewelry. D’s Keepsakes is featuring a beautiful bracelet. All the proceeds from sales of this particular bracelet go to Alpha Relief. They have an array of very original looking jewelry for all kinds of occasions, even a section for kids. Although I definitely want to order at least one of the featured bracelets, I’d love to get some of the holiday bracelets too!

Well, I know this isn’t a top visited site on the internet. For who ever may visit in the next day or so though, I hope that it does some kind of good. We all probably realize this is right around the anniversary of Katrina, and now look at the hurrican Gustav radar. I don’t live in the area, but they are in our prayers around here. If you’re some place safe right now and the next few days, remember to keep the people in the gulf in your prayers! Check out the hurricane Gustav radar.

I’m sure the area is not ready for another storm like this, especially one of this size. Katrina wasn’t even this large was it? In fact, they just said on the TV that this will likely hit on the “other side” of the levy — and the governor says there are gaps in it around that area. Pass the word and let’s pray that lives aren’t lost and destroyed as they were three years ago. Thankfully, though, the people seem to be taking it a little more serious and getting out of dodge this time around.

Save Lives”. Well, this got my attention needless to say and led me to finding BuyShoesSaveLives.com. They seem legit enough.

They are open about their beliefs, and their intentions as well as things they can’t promise. Such as, they pay fair wages and attempt to do everything that fair trade would expect (although they are not eligible because fair trade deals with commodities and agriculture). They admit that they can’t confirm whether the cotton they use are fair trade certified or not.

You can see all of the kids they have helped, mostly by paying for surgeries that saved their lives. These surgeries would not have been possible otherwise.

The shoes aren’t bad looking, and they claim they are extremely durable. I don’t see any harm in giving them a try, every little bit helps to save another child that does not have a chance for the health care they need.

Read all about the organization here, see the children here, or start shopping here!
