My son studied to be a nurse, graduated and got his liscense to be a nurse. He has plenty of nurses uniform in his closet and now all he need is a job as a nurse. Sadly, it’s job opportunities in the Philippines is scarce. It’s a pity that so many young people graduate and yet don’t get employed in the field they have studied for.

Oh well, at least I will have my very own nurse when I am old.

Lately I’ve been reading news on the internet on the crimes that are happening in the Philippines. I cannot help but worry because my daughter decided to settle in the Philippines together with my grandson. I guess most moms would freak out after knowing what happen to the victims of carnapping incidents. The bad guys aren’t satisfied with getting the vehicle and decided to commit more heinous crime by killing the car owners. If I have to choose between speaking to a Texas truck accident lawyer and giving out information to a coroner, I would definitely choose the former. I just wish the victims would rest in peace and I pray that my family in the Philippines would always be safe.

My daughter and I were talking about my grandson – Sean’s baptism. I asked her if she can do it while I am still in the Philippines. She said yes but due to busy schedule it hasn’t take place yet. It’s probably for the best because Sean is still so young and besides she don’t even have her Baptism invitations ready yet. The last I heard, she will do it in April.

tomorrow. My departure is a bit bittersweet actually, I wish I can stay longer with my daughter so I can spend more time with my grandson Sean but I also miss my husband Norman who’s back in Canada.

I enjoyed my stay here very much and to be honest I didn’t really miss my life in Canada. When I get back there, I would have to deal with very cold weather again and would have to walk with an overshoe so that my shoes could be protected from the snow. Oh well, in several months both and my husband will be going back to the Philippines and see if we could live here.

I flew with Philippine Airlines from Canada to Palawan, Philippines and they have lost one of my luggage. I cannot freaking believe it because this is already the second time that this has happened to me. When I arrived  in Palawan and found out what happened, I called the PAL office to inform them about the incident. They said they cannot trace it. I don’t know if they are really working on finding my luggage or are they just spending their time reading about lipozene review instead of working.

I called several time already to follow up this case but a month has passed by and still no news. I am really pissed because that luggage contains the gifts I bought for my grandson Sean and some of my favorite clothes!
