My reality check

Jul 2, 2010 under Uncategorized | no comment

My goals are almost there and everything is fitting into its proper place. My daughter is pregnant and back in the Philippines, while my son will have a stable job soon. As for me, I’m preparing myself both mentally and physically once more because my contract with the hotel is about to end, after that  I’ll be having a hard time buying those age spots removal creams while finding another source of income. I’m also saving up money to fully furnish my house in Palawan, it’s almost done as you can see but still needs some more enhancements. As for now the construction is still frozen to give way for the construction of my daughter’s house.

Answered prayers

Jul 2, 2010 under Uncategorized | no comment

light shining handsOh yes! My prayers were answered and I guess that I won’t need another dose of prevera cream fro my face anymore. Yesterday, after I posted my blog about my son, he left me a message that he has a job. Although not the type of job I want him to have but I think it will do for the meantime. He said that he is back in the BPO industry and would be starting soon. When I asked him about his application with the hospitals, he mentioned that they are still on process. I just hope that he gets a nursing job soon and won’t rely much in the call center industry forever.

My son, My Worry

I have mentioned in a previous post about my son and I’s misunderstanding. Since we will be living in the Philippines for good near my daughter, I really hope that my son finds a job that will enable him to support himself pretty soon. I know I am his mom and all, but he is a grown-up now, and is supposed to be already fending for himself. I want him to learn how to do that without help from me anymore. Massage tables are looking more and more enticing right now, I tell you. It would be pure bliss to be in one of those right now.

Laptop Worries

Jun 23, 2010 under Uncategorized | no comment

I love the laptop that I have bought from my daughter. It has become my new best friend next to my husband. I do wish that this came with an extended laptop warranty because I am afraid that it would just die on me sooner or later. I hope not!

Do you know if it is still possible to get an extended warranty?

My first grandchild

Jun 23, 2010 under Personal | no comment

My daughter is pregnant and will be giving birth on the month of December. Unfortunately I wont be there when she gives birth. I need to work and save a bit before I go back to the Philippines. It’s a pity I won’t see my first grandchild as he or she is just newly born.

Anyway, I will for sure come as soon as I have saved enough. I am looking forward to receiving the photo cards she will be sending me when the baby is born.

My laptop hanging up

As I told you awhile ago, I bought a laptop from my daughter. It hanged up recently and I was a bit worried. I don’t know anything about computers at all. I mean if you start talking about hard drives I would have no clue what or where it is. Yeah, it’s that bad :) . Oh well I am happy that I know how to use email and chat.

Hyperactive kids

Kids have the tendency to become hyperactive, most especially if they are not the type of kids who enjoy ticking the keyboard of the computer. Sometimes being so hyperactive can start a pulmonary disease for a child. Some develop asthma others would simply have a hard time breathing because of too many activities. Parents would normally take their child to the Pediatrician and to test whether there was shortness in breathing, doctors would use the spirometer to measure the amount of air that your child was able to expire. This would help in the diagnosis of the doctor and prescribe the correct medication for your child.
