If you love music, but can’t stand to shell out hundreds of bucks for a good seat at your favorite concert, then hope and pray that more bands will follow Metallica’s way of thinking. When a good seat can cost you a week’s paycheck, it isn’t always something we can do no matter how much we would like to. I’m not an enormous fan of Metallica (I like some of their songs), but if they were to play near me I think I’d spend a whole $10 bucks to see them!

They are offering tickets from $9 to $14 to promote their album… which these days is completely unheard of. So, if you’re a big fan then start buying your tickets asap as I’m sure they will be gone before you can say the word “gone”. Thankfully, my son isn’t old enough to be begging for concert tickets yet!

You’ve probably heard of the dog whisperer or even the ghost whisperer… but what about the potty whisperer?

As a mother who works from home, the idea of potty training in a single day sounds simply amazing. How is that possible though? Can it really be done? Apparently, the “potty whisperer” is successful in doing just that 98% of the time. A parent or caregiver comes to the “booty camp”, but will not be actively engaged in the training. Sweeney sets parents aside while she goes to work in transforming your little one’s thinking process about going to the potty on their own. However, she trains the parent just as much so that the parent has the working knowledge needed to take home with them at day’s end.

Potty training can be a daunting task, I know. I am semi-potty-training if there is such a thing. My little one is a little behind on speech, so we are taking it a bit slower than would be expected due to the communication factor. Potty training in less than a day, who would have ever thought that was possible in any situation?! You can read more about her and the program here.

Entrecard is about the only social website I try to be faithful with using. Sure, I’d like to get into more, but I have to find the time to get started with them - I just haven’t had much of that time lately. I am going to be adding sites to this list that are good at reciprocating drops and those that load quickly. If you think you deserve to be on my list, leave a comment and drop a card! Of course, once I finish my reciprocal dropping and drops from my list, I like to go back and follow the path of those advertisements. It helps you when someone not only drops a card on you, but also clicks the card that is advertising on your widget. That’s always a nice bonus.

Today, while I was thumbing around and passing through some random blogs, I found an ad that said “Buy Shoes. Save Lives”. Well, this got my attention needless to say and led me to finding BuyShoesSaveLives.com. They seem legit enough.

They are open about their beliefs, and their intentions as well as things they can’t promise. Such as, they pay fair wages and attempt to do everything that fair trade would expect (although they are not eligible because fair trade deals with commodities and agriculture). They admit that they can’t confirm whether the cotton they use are fair trade certified or not.

You can see all of the kids they have helped, mostly by paying for surgeries that saved their lives. These surgeries would not have been possible otherwise.

The shoes aren’t bad looking, and they claim they are extremely durable. I don’t see any harm in giving them a try, every little bit helps to save another child that does not have a chance for the health care they need.
